connecting omron 5 with mozzaz

Follow the instructions below to connect the Omron 5 device with the Mozzaz Platform.

Overview

What you will need to get started:

  1. Email address – To pair your device to the OMRON application you must create an account with OMRON. This process will require an email address.

    • If you require assistance logging in or have forgotten your account credentials, please contact support@mozzaz.com for timely assistance


  2. Mobile device – iPhone or Android device running the following OS or later

    • iPhone – iOS 14.8; check iOS version by opening Settings > About

    • Android - Android 12.0 or later • OMRON 5 Blood Pressure Cuff – must be a Bluetooth enabled

    • OMRON 5 device. View our device gallery


Step One: Find and Install OMRON Connect Application

Open in your device’s respective the App store, search for OMRON Connect. Once found select and install the app.

Step Two: Create an OMRON Account

On the Sign-in screen you will be prompted to create an OMRON account

  1. iOS devices will be prompted for permission to connect to Bluetooth, reply OK.

  2. Enter a valid email address, password and select your country

    • Be sure to note down your email and password as you will require this information later

  3. Agree to the OMRON End-User Agreement, Privacy Policy, and Terms & Conditions

  4. Validate your account through an email sent to your account address

  5. Select All OMRON Blood Pressure devices

  6. Now you’re ready to pair your device

Step Three: Pair your OMRON Device

Follow the instructions in the OMRON Connect app

  1. Make sure your OMRON device is turned OFF and placed close to your phone or tablet.

  2. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on your OMRON device for 3 – 5 seconds.

  3. Release the button when you see a flashing P on the device screen.

  4. Your device is ready to pair now.

Find your device’s pairing button

iOS Devices - Make sure your Bluetooth is turned ON

  • Go to Settings and scroll down to Bluetooth. When on the Bluetooth screen tap the toggle at the top to enable.

Android Devices - Make sure your Bluetooth is turned ON

  • Go to Settings and scroll down to “Connected Devices”

  • Tap the “Pair New Device” option, and select the Omron device when it appears in the pairing list

On the OMRON Connect app, you will see a list of active devices near you. Select the OMRON Blood Pressure device – 5 Series Upper Arm – BP7250

The device will start pairing with your phone or tablet

iOS Devices

  • You will receive a Bluetooth Pairing Request – tap “Pair”

  • You will receive a request to “Allow OMRON connect to use your location?” – tap “Allow While Using App”

  • You’ll receive a success message when the device is paired.

  • You can proceed to the Dashboard for a tutorial on using the device and taking readings

Step Four: Taking a Reading

Once the App has paired with your OMRON device, readings currently stored on the device will the shared to the App.

Step Five: Connecting your OMRON Account to Mozzaz

  • Contact your clinician or Mozzaz Customer Success agent to provide you with your unique link

  • Click the link and enter the email address (username) and password from your OMRON account

  • You will be asked to share data with Mozzaz. Click Allow to proceed
