Mozzaz is Chosen to Build Wayfound’s Digital Mental Health Platform for Public Safety Personnel & First Responders

Amid rising rates of mental health conditions, Wayfound Mental Health Group selects Mozzaz to deploy a digital platform that will increase accessibility to support resources.

July 27, 2021 | Oakville, ON- Mozzaz, a leader in virtual care technology, has been selected by Wayfound Mental Health Group, a Canadian mental health provider, to build a digital health platform focused on providing resources to public safety personnel and first responders. In the midst of a mental health epidemic, rates of depression, anxiety disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addiction, and suicide are at an all-time high. This solution will support Wayfound’s mission in being champions of innovative, evidence-informed mental health and extend the reach of their programs nationally and around the world.

“We’re very excited to be partners with Mozzaz as this will change the way mental health is delivered for our programs and clients. This takes our evidence-based programs to a whole new level of care.”
- Shari Hughson | COO | Wayfound

The digital mental health platform will be a key component of the Before Operational Stress (BOS) Program. The BOS Program was developed in 2017 and 2018 by Wayfound’s CEO Dr. Megan McElheran, with the support of Wounded Warriors Canada. It includes a proprietary suite of training and tools, empowering public safety personnel to take charge of their mental health.  Bringing BOS to a digital space will be instrumental in broadening the availability of this cutting-edge program to first responders across the globe.

“At Mozzaz, it’s important to us that our digital health technology makes a difference and positively impacts the lives of our communities. We’re looking forward to seeing that impact come to fruition by providing a digital care channel as a part of the Before Operational Stress Program.”
- Linda Lusis | VP Strategic Partnerships | Mozzaz

The Digital Mental Health Platform for Wayfound will expand on Mozzaz’s current portfolio of high-value digital solutions for mental health including ready-made digital protocols and personalized interventions for bipolar disorder, major depression, schizophrenia, ANGST-E teenage anxiety, addiction recovery support, and suicide prevention and support.
